Cryogenic Over-Pressure
1,200 psi rupture discs on both LN₂ and LHe lines; spring-loaded back-pressure regulator maintains 800 psi max.
Oxygen Depletion (He vent)
Helium exits through heat-exchanger + roof stack at 5 m s⁻¹; O₂ sensor shuts cryo pumps below 19 % O₂.
Thermal Shock (Egg Chamber)
Sapphire inner liner + Invar compression shell; handles 4 K to 200 °C without cracking.
